How old do you have to be to rent a UTV or Jeep in Gatlinburg?
We require all renters to be at least 21 years old.
Do I need a driver’s license to rent a UTV or Jeep?
All drivers must present a valid driver’s license. We do not accept learner permits.
Is insurance included?
No. You must provide your own personal auto insurance card, either printed or digital, when renting a UTV or Jeep.
Are your UTVs and Jeeps street legal?
Yes. We register and equip all of our UTVs and Jeeps to operate legally on public roads in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Is a security deposit required?
We do not require a security deposit. However, the primary driver must provide a major credit card that matches the name on the driver’s license so we can keep it on file.
Where can we drive the UTV or Jeep?
You can explore scenic routes in the Smoky Mountains. From Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, to Cades Cove Loop, Foothills Parkway, Kuwohi (formerly Clingmans Dome) and surrounding areas. Is alcohol allowed inside the vehicle?
Gatlinburg’s open container laws prohibit alcohol inside both UTVs and Jeeps.
What happens in case of rain?
Both vehicles operate in light rain. In severe weather, we reschedule your rental based on availability.
Do we must wear helmets while riding in a UTV?
No. Remember that our UTVs are street legal and are not for off-road use. Each vehicle includes a roof and windshield, so you do not need to wear a helmet.

How old do you have to be to rent an e-bike in Gatlinburg?
Riders must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued ID to rent an e-bike from RideOn Rentals. Riders under 18 may ride only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and every rental requires a signed agreement.
Can kids ride E-Bikes?
Kids can ride our e-bikes if they are tall enough to safely control the bike and follow traffic rules. The minimum seat height measures about 36 inches from the ground. We also offer tag-along bikes and secondary-seat options for children who cannot ride independently.
Where can we ride the electric bikes?
You can ride our e-bikes through the Great Smoky Mountains, paved city routes, scenic roads, and designated bike-friendly areas. Riders must follow all posted park regulations. We provide route suggestions at pickup, but you must transport the e-bikes yourself to locations outside Gatlinburg.
Can we ride your E-Bikes at Cades Cove Loop?
Yes. You can ride our e-bikes at Cades Cove Loop, but you must transport them yourself since Cades Cove sits about 30 miles from Gatlinburg.
Are your e-bikes foldable?
Yes. We offer fully foldable e-bikes for easy transport. Our largest models measure approximately 42” (length) x 27” (height) x 23” (width), which allows most cars to fit one bike and most SUVs to fit two. We also rent bike racks if needed.
Do I need to wear a helmet while riding an e-bike?
Yes. We provide helmets with every e-bike rental and strongly recommend wearing one at all times.

Can the mobility scooters be transported to hotels?
Yes. Most of our mobility scooters fold easily, so you can transport them to your hotel or cabin. Depending on location and availability, we also offer free or paid delivery options.
How long does the battery last?
Our mobility scooter batteries typically last a full day and can travel up to 15 miles, depending on terrain and usage.
What is the maximum weight limit for your mobility scooters?
Our foldable mobility scooters support between 200 and 350 lbs, depending on the model you choose.
We also offer heavy-duty mobility scooters that support up to 500 lbs. These models come as one solid unit and do not break down for transport. However, you can ride them directly from our office to Downtown Gatlinburg and surrounding areas with comfort and ease.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards and cash. If you pay with cash, you must provide a major credit card in the driver’s name so we can keep it on file. We do not charge that card unless damage or additional fees apply
Do all participants need to sign a rental agreement?
For UTV and Jeep rentals, only the primary driver signs the rental agreement. For E-Bike and Mobility Scooter rentals, all riders must sign a waiver. A parent or legal guardian must sign for any minor participant.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled pickup time, and we issue a full refund.
Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before pickup incur a 50% cancellation fee.
For cancellations less than 24 hours before pickup, we do not issue a refund.
You must request all cancellations or rescheduling by phone or in person. In cases of extreme weather or safety concerns, we may reschedule rentals at our discretion.
What is your Flex Cancel policy?
If you select the Flex Cancel option at checkout, you can cancel your reservation anytime before the scheduled start time and receive a full refund of the rental amount, minus the Flex Cancel coverage fee and taxes.
Do you offer same-day rentals?
Yes. We offer same-day rentals when vehicles are available. During peak seasons, we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
